Santa's Workshop: A Holiday Tradition of Giving

 

Since 2011, The Toy Chest Children’s Charity has brought holiday joy to children across Kentucky — and one of the most meaningful ways we do it is through our Annual Santa's Workshop.

Each December, volunteers gather to turn stacks of toys and piles of clothes into gifts ready to be delivered on Christmas. It’s a hands-on day of purpose, connection, and holiday spirit!

What Is Santa's Workshop?

Santa's Workshop is where the heart of our mission comes to life. Community members join together to package gifts from children’s wishlists, share laughs, and experience the power of giving back.

​

It’s a simple act, but it carries real weight. It’s a way to show up for kids and families across Kentucky and help make the season brighter in a very real, tangible way.

How to Join the Workshop

No experience is needed — just bring your time, energy, and holiday spirit. We’ll provide refreshments and everything else you need.

Choose a volunteer shift:

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

11:00 AM - 1:00 PM 

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

3:00 PM – 5:00 PM​
